Looking back at my preliminary task, I realise that I have fount out and learnt far more about technologies, typography, oligopolies, institutions and all codes and conventions needed to make successful magazine. Through concentrating on all these aspects, researching them thoroughly and experimenting with them, I have learnt how to use each of them to complement themselves. I feel my preliminary task was very disorganised and not properly designed. The magazine front cover was very messy and confusing to look at. It would not be attractive to the audience at all. I developed this on my final piece by using techniques I have learnt in Photoshop and layering images to make it look more organised a professional in order to produce a magazine which is of a higher standard. Each page comes across as much more effecting and appealing to read. It is clear that my preliminary task has helped me to improve and create a stylish music magazine.
